Digitalisation Manager
Vårgrønn is looking for an ambitious and skilled
Digitalisation Manager to lead the company’s digital transformation. In this role, you will work closely with the organization to develop strategies and set priorities for digitalisation across the entire company, with a strong focus on supporting and enhancing our project portfolio.
This is a newly established role with significant room for influence and growth. Reporting directly to senior management you will work with multiple departments and external partners, playing a key role in shaping the future of our digital development.
Some of your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, lead and implement digital strategies that aligns with Vårgrønn’s goals and project needs
- Drive digitalization initiatives in the Green Volt project
- Identify and assess new emerging technologies (e.g., AI, digital twin, predictive maintenance, etc.) to enhance project execution and operation efficiency
- Optimize workflows and integrate digital solutions for better operational efficiency and safety
- Excel at stakeholder management by ensuring clear communication with project teams and key stakeholders
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by staying on top of trends within digital technology and applying them in order to enhance business performance
- Implement digital solutions that drive and support sustainability initiatives, including adoption of environmentally friendly technologies and practices that promote resource optimization and efficiency
Experience and qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and digital transformation, with a background in areas like computer science, business administration, information technology or other related fields.
Experience with change management is valuable here, particularly engaging with stakeholders.
Strong understanding of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, and IoT, and how they can be applied to improve business operations, will also be key.
We value strong project management abilities, including resource management, budgeting and meeting deadlines.

This position will also be a part of the Green Volt team, a pioneering floating offshore wind project, for which Vårgrønn and Flotation Energy was awarded a UK Government Contract for Difference. The project will be a catalyst for the creation of a robust floating wind supply chain in the UK, and an essential steppingstone from current small-scale projects to gigawatt-size developments. Green Volt represents an important leap towards the 5GW floating offshore wind target the UK has set for 2030, and the benefits of Green Volt will be felt beyond the UK, being a catalyst for the development of floating wind elsewhere in Europe.
