Are you interested in working with strategic procurement, project management, and commercial questions? Orkla Procurement’s (OP) Indirect team is expanding and is now looking for one or two Category Analysts and/or Senior Category Analyst to join our team.
Assessment analysis, potential estimation, stakeholder communication, and value creation through sourcing and project execution are some of the cornerstones of our daily work. Getting to know the Orkla structure and your stakeholders is key. You will run projects with an undefined path – finding the way, securing buy-in, and driving the projects forward. Join us if you are driven by a commercial mindset and eager to engage in real value creation.
Main Responsibilities And Duties
- You will be an important team member, contributing to the targets and ambitions for the sector.
- As a (Senior) Category Analyst, you will identify potential sourcing synergies and lead or participate in cross-company/cross-country projects – always cross-functionally.
- You will lead and/or be a team member in commercial projects within the sector, driving them forward and implementing value creation.
- When leading a project, you will be primarily responsible for the planning, management, and coordination of the project.
- Ensure involvement from and regularly report to stakeholders and management.
- Manage and participate in parallel projects in a structured and efficient manner.
- Be responsible for building and sharing competence within the project scope and for establishing strategies and guidelines for the future.
- Build, develop, and maintain existing relationships, both internally with stakeholders and externally with suppliers.
- Deliver relevant presentations internally and externally.
- Follow-up and conduct business reviews with suppliers delivering within the contracts under your responsibility.
